House rules
Women only: Hostelle is a women only hostel and therefore will only allow women guests. Men and boys are welcome to visit during the day but are only allowed in the common area.
Check-in/out: Check-in starts at 2:00 PM and check-out is until 11:00 AM. If you arrive before check-in or need some extra time after check-out, you are welcome to store your luggage in our luggage room.
Our reception is open daily until 12:00 AM (midnight). If you plan to arrive after midnight, please let us know in advance so we can arrange your check-in.
Maximum stay: The maximum a guest can stay in the hostel is 14 days.
Group bookings: We always try our best to accommodate you together with your friends in the same room but, due to the nature of our business (we sell beds and not rooms), it can’t be guaranteed.
General/standard reservations: Reservations can only be made with a Master Card, Visa or American Express credit card. Upon arrival you must pay with your credit/debit card or with cash. We make every effort to accommodate you in the dormitory size of your choice. However, because of the nature of our business, we may have to place you in a different sized dormitory. As a result the balance to be paid upon arrival can be slightly different than what is stated on your confirmation.
Non-Refundable reservations: When this is booked, the provided credit card will be charged with the full amount. A Non-Refundable reservation can’t neither be cancelled nor modified. As the name clearly says, a refund is not possible for this type of booking.
Booking confirmation: After making the reservation you will receive an e-mail with your booking details (the booking confirmation). Make sure you bring this confirmation with you to Hostelle. Please note: if you did not receive this confirmation, you don’t have a booking!
Cancellations/modifications: They have to be made at least 48 hours before your arrival (only for the General/standard reservations) . You can do this through the booking channel you used or by e-mail to: info@hostelle.fr: always send your name, reference number and check-in date with your request so the reservation can be found. After you have sent us the details you will receive an e-mail from us that confirms your cancellation/modification. If you do not receive this confirmation from us, your reservation has not been processed.
Please note: Cancellations/modifications that are sent/requested through our Facebook page/Instagram, will not be accepted.
No show: In case of a No-show, your credit card will be charged with the price of the first night of your stay per person. The rest of that booking will be cancelled (only for a standard rate).
Linen: Your bed will be made with clean linen when you arrive. Please remove your linen when you depart and leave them on your bed. Towels are not included. If needed you can rent a towel at the front desk for €3.00.
Behaviour: At Hostelle we expect our guests to treat others the way they wish to be treated; with respect and courtesy. Hostelle & staff reserve the right to refuse accommodation to anyone with regards to the safety and wellbeing of our guests and staff.
Minimum age: Yes, we have a minimum age of 16 years old. Only when accompanied by a parent or a guardian we do allow children from the age of 12 years to stay in Hostelle.
Animals: Animals are not allowed.
